The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is mourning the death of its Ashanti Region Deputy Organiser, Kwame Adu.
Adu died on Sunday, December 21 after a short illness.
“Coming at the festive season, it definitely strikes as a very hard blow to the family of the deceased and the entire NPP fraternity, especially, the Ashanti Regional NPP,” a statement issued by National Chairman Paul Afoko on Tuesday, December 23 said.
“On behalf of the NPP, I wish to extend our sincere condolences to the Ashanti Regional NPP and particularly, to the family of the deceased.”
Mr Afoko described the deceased as a true patriot and a democrat, whose contribution was not only to the NPP but to the country as a whole.
